Since 2023, we have completely stopped using Styrofoam as packaging material for shipping our trading goods and instead use molded fiber trays from PRiOTEGA GmbH & Co. KG. They are compact, robust, and 100% recyclable—an environmentally friendly solution for safe, resource-efficient shipping.

The molded fiber trays are made almost entirely from recycled paper and cardboard and are 100% recyclable. This packaging combines stability, shock absorption, and sustainability in one product. Thanks to their compact shape, they can be stacked efficiently — saving storage space, optimizing shipping, and reducing CO₂ emissions throughout the logistics chain. Disposal is straightforward: as a mono-material, they can be recycled directly in the paper recycling stream, with no additional sorting required.

Natural Fiber Instead of Plastic.
Production of the trays is particularly resource-efficient: recycled paper and cardboard are mixed with water to create a uniform fiber pulp — completely without chemical additives or binders. This natural base material is then molded, dried, and hardens into a dimensionally stable, customized packaging solution with minimal environmental impact. The result is an all-around eco-friendly alternative that not only eliminates plastic but also actively helps reduce packaging waste and pollutant emissions.
